The horse's story, in one place
Registration papers. Shots and Coggins. Farrier and vet visits. Shows and placings. Everyone who has owned it. A ReinPass is all of that, attached to the horse rather than to whoever happens to own it this year.
What it is not
It is not another app to sign into
A ReinPass is part of Lope On, not a separate product. There is nothing extra to download, no second login, and no subscription attached to the horse.
Papers and identity
Registered name, registry and number, breed, colour, markings, brands, microchip. The things a buyer or a vet needs to know they have the right horse.
Health and care
Vaccinations, Coggins tests with expiry dates, deworming, dental, farrier visits, injuries and surgeries. Dated, so nobody has to guess when the last one was.
Training and competition
What it has been started on, what it does now, where it has shown and how it placed. Attach the results if you have them.
Ownership history
Every owner, with the dates they had the horse. Previous owners are never removed — that history is exactly what makes the record worth having.
Privacy
Three settings, on every single thing
Nothing is public unless you say so. The setting sits on individual fields and individual documents, not just on the horse as a whole.
Public
Anyone with the link can see it, including people who are not signed in. Good for photos, breeding, height and what the horse does.
Shared
Only people you have given access to. This is how you send a serious buyer the vet records without putting them on the internet.
Private
Only you. Microchip numbers, purchase prices and full vet history start here by default.
Private documents are never given a public URL. They are served through a check that asks who you are first, and a request that does not pass simply gets a “not found”.
When it sells
The record goes with the horse
The seller starts a transfer
They enter the buyer’s email and the date the horse changed hands. Nothing moves yet.
The buyer accepts
The buyer sees exactly what they are taking on before they agree, including which documents come with it.
The horse changes hands
The buyer becomes the current owner from that date. The seller moves into the ownership history, and their entry stays there permanently.
The history keeps going
The new owner keeps adding shots, shoeing and shows. In five years the next buyer sees all of it.
Questions
About the ReinPass
Does the horse need to be for sale?
No. Plenty of horses on Lope On are not for sale and never will be. The record is useful on its own — knowing when the Coggins expires is worth something whether or not you are selling.
What does it cost?
Nothing. A ReinPass is free, for as many horses as you own. See pricing.
Does Lope On verify what I put in it?
Not by default, and we say so plainly on the page. If a badge appears it tells you exactly what was checked and what it does not mean. We will never let a badge imply we inspected a horse nobody looked at. How verification works.
What if I use AI to read a document?
You are shown what it read and asked to confirm each field before anything is saved. A guess never becomes a fact without you agreeing to it, and anything filled in this way is marked as such.

Can I delete it?
You can archive a horse, and you can delete your account. Ownership history entries belonging to previous owners are kept, because a record that can be quietly rewritten by whoever holds the horse today is not a record.
