What we do not charge for
No commission. Lope On takes nothing from the sale price. The money never passes through us.
No listing fee. List one horse or twenty.
No fee to keep records. A ReinPass for a horse that is not for sale costs nothing and always will. Charging somebody to keep their own horse’s vaccination history would be a strange way to run this.
Payments are switched off
There is no payment processing running on Lope On at the moment. Nothing on the site can charge you, and there is nowhere to enter a card.

Being straight about this now is better than surprising you later. None of it is available yet.
Featured placement
Paid promotion of a listing higher in search results, clearly marked as paid.
Professional accounts
Tools for barns and dealers running many horses at once.
Verification
Identity, registration and business checks. Some of these cost us money to run, so some may carry a fee.
The core — your horses, your records, your history — stays free. Anything paid will be an extra on top, not a wall in front of what you already have.

Is there a catch?
Not one we are hiding. Lope On is early and needs horses and people on it more than it needs revenue this year.
Will you start charging for what is free today?
Not for the core: your horses, your records and your ownership history. If anything else changes we will tell you before it does.
Do you take a cut of the sale?
No. We are not involved in the payment at all.
What if I stop using Lope On?
Your records stay yours. You can export what you have put in, and you can delete your account from settings.
How does Lope On make money then?
Eventually through featured placement, professional accounts and some verification services — the things listed above. Never by selling your data or your horse’s records.
